This carpet’s FusionBac backing is designed to help you while fitting it as it comes with a strong hessian style layer and a thin layer of felt. The felt can help prevent scratches and scuffs and this type of backing should be installed with an underlay. Adding a quality underlay can give your carpet a more cushioned feel and add insulation while also helping to increase its lifetime.
